Abu Dhabi, as much as it sounds like an exotic, faraway land filled with genies and magic carpets, is a pretty familiar name to most. It has been home to numerous migrant workers; starting with the Iranians at the turn of the previous century. It was my Aunt’s home for the better part of the 80’s until she migrated to Australia. Dubai might be the migrant workers’ buzzword now, but Abu Dhabi remains the crown jewel of the UAE.
