<p>We’re happy to announce that TrueProfile.io’s February Scholarship Fund is open for submission! This month, we want to support nurses who want to move to the UK to help stem growing staff shortage. The scholarship initiative, where we give a cash fund of US$1,000 to one of our lucky <a href="https://trueprofile.io/member/register" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Members</a>, will propel your career further. You can purchase additional <a href="https://www.trueprofile.io/member/resources/what-is-a-trueproof" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">TrueProofs</a>, enroll in any of our <a href="https://trueprofile.io/ati/modules" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ATI Nursing Education Modules</a>, or put it towards visa fees and other immigration expenses!</p>
<h2>Thousands of vacancies</h2>
<p>As of April 2021, there were around <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.bbc.com/news/health-54844786" target="_blank">90</a><a href="https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/uk-news/nhs-90000-vacant-posts-need-20431363" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">,000 Registered Nursing vacancies</a> in the UK, according to the BBC. The <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://theconversation.com/covid-has-exposed-a-long-running-shortage-of-nurses-that-is-putting-nhs-patients-at-risk-150116" target="_blank">number of patients has risen year on year whilst there is no corresponding rise in the nursing workforce</a>, according to a study done by the <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.health.org.uk/publications/reports/building-the-nhs-nursing-workforce-in-england" target="_blank">Health Foundation</a>. UK political parties have all agreed to support ethical international recruitment policies, and parties have pledged to recruit <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.kingsfund.org.uk/publications/parties-pledges-health-care-2019#international-recruitment" target="_blank">12,000 nurses by 2024/25</a>. As a company, TrueProfile.io has been a pillar for ethical international recruitment. To show our support to our Members and their careers, TrueProfile.io’s February Scholarship Fund is for our Members who are nurses who want to move to the UK for work or who want to work in the United Kingdom.</p>
<h2>The February TrueProfile.io Scholarship Fund</h2>
<p>As a TrueProfile.io Member, you can show global recruiters which countries you want to work in by adding countries of interest in your “Country Preferences” settings on your Digital CV. If you have added the “United Kingdom” as one of your preferred countries, all you need to do is <a href="https://www.trueprofile.io/member/resources/trueproof-how-to-share-your-verified-credentials" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">share your Digital CV</a> with us to enter TrueProfile.io’s February Scholarship Fund. <h2>How to Apply:</h2>

<p>1. <strong>Log in</strong> to your TrueProfile.io <a href="https://www.trueprofile.io/member/account" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">account</a>.</p>

<p>2. Add the ‘United Kingdom’ to your “Country Preferences” on your Digital CV.</p>
<p>3. Select <strong>Share</strong> and <a href="https://www.trueprofile.io/member/resources/trueproof-how-to-share-your-verified-credentials" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">generate a link</a> to your Digital CV.</p>

<p>4. <strong>Send us an email</strong> to <a href="mailto:win@trueprofile.io" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">win@trueprofile.io</a> with the generated link indicating that you have the United Kingdom on your “Country Preferences” and want to enter TrueProfile.io’s February Scholarship Fund competition.</p>
<p>5. The<strong> deadline</strong> for submitting your entry is the <strong>26th February </strong>2021.</p>
<p>The winner will be chosen on <strong>28th February</strong>, 2021. Terms and conditions apply.</p>

<h4>Terms and Conditions</h4>
<ul><li>Each member can only be awarded the TrueProfile.io Scholarship fund once.</li><li>Members must be aged over 18 years old. </li><li>Eligible Members must be an individual applying on their own behalf. </li><li>Only one entry per Member, bulk entries will be considered spam and will not be eligible to win. </li><li>The winner will be chosen at random and will be notified by email. </li><li>The winner is responsible for ensuring that they are able to accept the prize (i.e holding a valid bank account in their name). If they are unable to accept the prize, another winner will be chosen. </li><li>If a Member wins, and fails to claim their fund within 14 days, another winner will be chosen at random. After which, the initial winning Member cannot claim or dispute their rights to the TrueProfile.io Scholarship fund. </li><li>The fund can only be transferred to the bank account or Paypal account in the name of the winning Member. </li></ul>
