Overview
We are looking for a qualified Registered Nurse who utilizes nursing procedures and best practices, critical thinking, and problem solving skills to provide holistic care to patients and members of the family. This includes provision and coordination of patient care and educating patients, and family members about various health conditions.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Min 3 to 5 years of relevant hospital experience
With Valid QCHP License Holder
Willing to relocate to QATAR as soon as the license formalities are completed.
Valid Nursing License from Country of Origin
Valid CPR certification/courses as per specialty
English Language Skills: Proficient in verbal, written and comprehension
Arabic Language Skills: Basic verbal/comprehension – Preferred/Beneficial
Basic Computer Skills
Essential Responsibilities and Duties include :
- Provides initial and ongoing assessment and interpretation of patients within the framework of holistic professional nursing practice, and in accordance with the principles of patient and family centered care
- Assesses and interprets information and data regarding the patient’s culture and values system, lifestyle and interest, and ability to participate in their care and other factors impacting successful treatment outcomes.
- Assesses and interprets patient’s ability (physical, social and psychological) to manage their health in order to transition their care or discharge, in collaboration with the patient or family identifies needs based on analysis of data
- Develops, coordinates, and updates an individualized plan of care, based on evidence, in collaboration with the patient and their family, the interdisciplinary healthcare team and other providers of care promoting continuity of care across the continuum
- Establishes and maintains a therapeutic relationship with patients or families
- Identifies, initiates and coordinates therapeutic interventions consistent with the legislated scope of practice and level of competence
- Implements prescribed interventions (e.g. diagnostic tests, medications) and perform independent nursing interventions (e.g. patient and family education)
- Supervises and evaluates care provided by direct care assistive and support staff
- Uses data and evidence-based to evaluate nursing activities and interventions
- Documents complete accurate and relevant data for every patient according to Al Ahli Hospital policies
- Practices within professional, legal and ethical standards and is accountable for their own actions and decisions at all times
- Contributes to a positive team, functioning and supporting one another
